Norfolk Daily News - July 25, 2017 TILDEN — Services for Reynold Johnson, 95, of Tilden will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Tilden. The Rev. Christopher Onuoha will officiate with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Tilden. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden with a 7 p.m. rosary. He died Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Heritage of Bel Air in Norfolk. 1922-2017 Reynold Johnson, son of William and Emma (Kudera) Johnson, was born May 17, 1922, at rural Clarkson. He attended country school near Clarkson. On June 1, 1948, he was married to Leona Prochaska at Abie. The couple lived in Abie, where Ray was employed by Construction Service of Omaha. The couple moved to Tilden in 1967, where Ray was co-owner of Tilden Construction for 12 years. He worked for Antelope County until age 65. Ray then became employed by Rutjens Construction. He was a member of the Abie Volunteer Fire Dept. and Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Abie and the Knights of Columbus. Ray was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Tilden. He is survived by his son and spouse, Marvin and Doris Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter and her spouse, Teresa and Marti Horrocks of Frederick, Colo.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and his spouse.
