Bio

Robert Eugene Harding, 34, 2901 South Main Street, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He had gone to the hospital for open heart surgery which was performed last Friday. He was manager of the Pacific Finance Company office in New Castle until two years ago and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his widow, Georgette; six children, Martha Marie, Doreen Elaine, Elizabeth Ann, Robert Jr., David Wayne, and Larry Gene, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Harding, Sr. of New Castle; three brothers, William of Indianapolis, Stanley, Jr. and Leland, both of New Castle; two sister, Mrs. Betty Hinchman and Mrs. Mary Flower, both of New Castle. Services for Mr. Harding will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Macer Funeral Home. Rev. R. E. Pavy will officiate with burial in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
