Bio
Arvilla was born to Raymond and Margaret Waslager. She was raised and schooled in Templeton and graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the Class of 1944. After graduation, she worked at Livestock Exchange National Bank in South Omaha, NE. She met Bartholomew John Scanlan and they were latter married on May 21-1955 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Omaha. They made their home in Plattsmouth, NE. and Arvilla was a stay at home mom until her daughters were in high school. She then worked at the Cass County Bank in Plattsmouth as a Teller, for 16 year, until her retirement in 1986. Arvilla was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Catholic Daughter of America and Parish Council of Catholic Women.
