Helen Walsh was born in California, a daughter of Charles Crewe 1859–1899 and Sarah Ann Windrom 1863–1904, both immigrants from England. She had siblings Charles Soursby 1884–1940, Florence Isabelle 1886–1947, Amy Elizabeth 1888–1976, Harold Edward 1895–? and Violet Adealaide 1898–1958. Her family lived in Berkeley, California. She married Frank Wilbur Walsh 1889-1952 in 1908 in Berkeley. They had children Helen "Minnie" E. 1909-1982 and Walter Lawrence 1910–1910. In 1940 Helen and Frank were working as hotel clerks in San Francisco, living at the hotel The Odeon. She was later a supervisor at the Pig-N-Whistle Candy Company in San Francisco. Helen lived in the Panama Canal Zone and Sun City, Arizona before moving to Phoenix in 1972. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Phoenix, and was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary in the Canal Zone. Survivors were her daughter Helen Chisholm of Sun City, one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
