Linda ''Princess'' Eccher (nee Smith) Succumbed to cancer Friday, August 22, 2003, at the age of 58. Loving and cherished wife of Phillip. Beloved mother of James Piontkowski, Keith (Linda Schollar) Eccher, Anita (Craig) Cleveland, Lance Eccher, Dirk Eccher, Cynthia (Kendall) Calhoun, and Randy (Josephine) Piontkowski. Dearest Gramzo of Christina Duris, Ashley Piontkowski, Melissa Duris, Cody Calhoun, Nicole, Stephanie, and Nathaniel Piontkowski. Daughter of Alice Marie and the late Arlie Smith. Daughter-in-law of Viola Eccher. Further survived by her brothers, sisters, other relatives, and friends. Linda is a 17 year Veteran of the Milwaukee Police Department retiring as Detective. She was an avid quilter, gardener, and doted her grandchildren. Visitation August 26, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (380 W. Bluemound Road, four blocks south of I-94, on the corners of Hwy J & JJ), from 4 PM until the time of service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society.
