Bio

VALPARAISO VISITOR--DIED, Cheever:--At her home in Valparaiso Mrs. Maud Pecinovsky Cheever, wife of George L. Cheever, on Saturday Sept. 8th, 1900, of accute Tuberculosis after an illness of about one month. The deceased was born in Saunders county Nebraska on March 14th 1882 and was 18 yrs 5 mo 24 days old. She was married to George L. Cheever July 12th, 1899 and leaves him, three sisters, three brothers and a father, besides a host of friends to mourn her loss. The funeral was held at her late home in this city last Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Father Kline of Brainard and the remains was followed to its last resting place, in the cemetery by a large concourse of friends.
