Bio

Martha Nixon was the daughter of James and Lorena Jemison Nixon. She was born in Alabama. Married to Jabez Curry Barron (Poss.. buried in Danville Cemetery) He came to Texas from Perry County, Alabama to teach in Danville, Montgomery County, Texas. Jabez died in 1865 in Montgomery County, Texas.
