Thanks to contributor #48763187 Freida Marie Luschei Marlar - Sadness hovered over the home of Louis L. Marlar/Lueie Marlar Friday morning when death claimed the wife and mother following a brief illness with flu. Mrs. Marlar's passing is particularly sad as four small children bereft of a mother's love and care. Freda Marie Luschei was born at Pender, Nebraska on March 13th, 1896, and died in Fullerton, Nebraska on March 18th, 1927. She was confirmed in the Lutheran church at the age of fifteen. In 1919 she was united in marriage to Louis L. Marlar, whow survives her, together with their four children, Arthur, Fern, Roy and Mildred. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Caroline Luschei, of Fullerton, two sisters, Mrs. H. H. Heins of Sutton and Mrs. T. A. Stellman of Cushing and five brothers, Felix W. H. Luschei of Omaha, B. W. Luschei and Earnest Luschei of Fullerton, E. G. Luschei of Kimball and L. F. Luchei of Hebron. Mrs. Marlar was a true daughter, a faithful wife, and a mother beyond the power of mere words; as a mother, where and actually gave her life for her little children. May her example be an inspiration to all humanity. And above all, she was a Christian. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Monday morning at 9:00 o'clock, Rev. Irvin Askine conducting the services. The remains were taken to Columbus for burial. 1927: Fullerton, Nebraska newspaper The Fullerton Post dated Thursday 24 March 1927 *********************************************** Freda's four children were adopted out shortly after her death: To Bernhard and Anna (Heckel) Dierks: Arthur Dierks , 1921-1996; Fern Kiunkte of Fullerton, Nebraska To Peter and Emma Gerdes: Roy E.
