Bio
Edwin D. Johnson went to live with the Lord on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 82. Service: 10 a.m Wednesday at White's Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Ed was born in Grapevine and resided there until he built his dream home in Garner after he retired from Southwestern Bell. Ed always cherished his family and will be missed by all who knew him. Ed was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Andrew Johnson; mother, Mamie Curry-Johnson; and father, John W. Johnson. Survivors: wife of 62 years, Emma Johnson; daughters, Patty Baca and husband, Rick, and Cindy Stum and husband, Gary; brother, Melvin Johnson; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a man's best friend, his dog Stormy.
