July 4, 2017 Louis J. Woita, 96, of David City died July 4, 2017. WWII veteran, U.S. Army. Louis worked as manager of Sack Lumber for over 40 years retiring in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lorene, daughters: Kathy (Doug) Jones of David City, Barbara (Bob) Goodman of Sarasota, Fla., Patricia (Bill) Westlund and Mary (Doug) Roberts both of Lincoln. Sons: Paul (Bridget) of Lincoln, Jim of Valparaiso and John of David City. Nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass: 10 am Saturday, July 8, at St. Mary's Church, David City. Burial: church cemetery. Family greeting friends: 5-7 pm followed by a 7 pm rosary Friday all at the church. Memorials: in care of the family for later designation.
