Christine Mary Gotschall was born December 19, 1955 in Columbus to Medrick and Hildegarde (Theewen) Odgaard. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1974 and attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where she studied outdoor recreation. Christine moved to Arizona where she was united in marriage to Gary Gotschall. The couple moved back to Columbus in the early 80's where she worked in the golf lounge at the Country Club for several years. They moved to Colorado for a short time before settling back to Columbus. Christine spent much of her time in the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and camping. She is survived by: Son - Casey Gotschall of Columbus, NE Daughter - Marin (Doug) Zabka of Clarkson, NE Sister - Adrienne (Kerry) Bensman of Lafayette, CO Sister - Pam (Gale) Gronenthal of Duncan, NE Brother - Dennis (Diane) Odgaard of Columbus, NE Brother - John E. Odgaard of Lincoln, NE Brother - Larry "Lou" Odgaard of Fort Collins, CO Granddaughter - Kayden Schumacher of Clarkson, NE Step-son - Gary Gotschall of Columbus, NE Step-daughter - Gail (Kevin) Peterson of Council Bluffs, IA She is preceded in death by: Father - Medrick Odgaard Mother - Hildegarde Odgaard Infant sister - Denise Odgaard Brother - Michael Odgaard
