Julia Leshikar Jozwiak of Sealy, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went home to meet her Lord on Wednesday, February 4, 2004. Julia was born in Taylor, Texas on May 14, 1918 to Henry and Josie Leshikar who predeceased her. She is one of three children and was predeceased by her two sisters, Helen Leshikar of Taylor and Lucille Vlcek of Kansas. Julia and her husband, Paul Jozwiak, Sr. lived in Sealy where Paul; worked for the Lower Colorado River Authority since 1945. Julia loved being with her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing and being a homemaker. She was a member of Christian City Fellowship Church in Sealy. Paul, Sr., her husband of 66 years predeceased her in April of 2003. She is survived by her children, Judith Kulhanek of Waller, Don, Allen and Paul of Rosenberg; as well as 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Visitation will be Saturday morning, February 7, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Christian City Fellowship (formerly Sealy Assembly) Church in Sealy with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Then a separate visitation will be held at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. immediately followed by graveside services and interment at Taylor City Cemetery.
