OKLAHOMA CITY Gates, Margie B., 92, died June 27. Services 2 p.m. Saturday, Eagle Heights Baptist Church (Resthaven, Oklahoma City). Published in The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Thursday, June 29, 2017, Page 6A. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Margie B. Gates was surrounded by her loving family when she went to be with her Lord on June 27, 2017 at the age of 92. She is survived by her children: Floyd De and wife Brenda Gates, Bobby Gates, Martha Clayton, Terry and wife Tona Gates, and Dowetta and husband Rex Williams; brothers Richard and Dean Brinlee; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lesley and Martha Raye Caudell Turner Brinlee (1900-1936); sisters: Dollie Buie, Imogene Childers, Marie Turner; and her brothers: George Brinlee and Ted Brinlee. Visitation will be held 8am-8pm Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held 2pm Saturday, July 1st at Eagle Heights Church, 12001 S.
