Bio

Charles N. Clifton passed away May 11, 1975. He was a resident of 931 Huntoon St., Eureka. Husband of the late Sara A. Clifton who passed away in 1964; father of C. B. Clifton of Cupertino, Brooks E. Clifton, and Mrs. Loree Stemach, both of Eureka; grandfather of Jimmy and Charles Clifton, Annette, and Elizabeth Stemach. He is survived by several great-grandchildren. Mr. Clifton was a native of Virginia, age 96 years. He had worked for the California Barrel Company prior to his retirement. Funeral services will be held at Sanders Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 13, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edgar Parker, officiating. Private interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
