Bio

Mrs. Mary E Hovis died at the home of her daughter,Mrs A.L. Conner,near Kurtz last Saturday night and her remains were interred in the Bagwell grave yard on Sunday. She was attacked with lagrippe early last spring and her health remained bad until about ten days ago she had a stroke of paralysis in her left side. She lingered in an unconscious condition until her death tell eyed her. She was a Christian lady and highly respected by all her acquaintances. She was the daughter of George Bohall of Seymour and was about 54 years old. Jackson County Banner July 22,1897 Page 8
