Bio
Lucy Flasher, 74, of Black Mountain, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. Mrs. Flasher was born December 9, 1942 in Madison County to the late Perry and Martha Marler. She devoted much of her time volunteering at Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Flasher. Lucy is survived by her sisters, Laura and Kathy; brother, Bobby; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, June 19, 2017 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Harwood Home for Funerals with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following. Burial will follow at 2:00pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Source Citation: Harwood Home for Funerals
