Jimmy (Jimmie)was the son of James Willis Epperson and Jane Epperson (Eppsie) He had two sisters Joan Leech (Epperson) and Nancy Thornton (Epperson)of Arlington, Texas. He was married to Audry Aillene Epperson (Coats)on 2-24- 1959, divorced 1-29-1974. They had three sons Jimmie Carlton Epperson, Jr., born 12-21-1959, Gary Wayne Epperson, born 7-10-1962, and Michael Alan Epperson, born 12-31-1965.
