Bio
Funeral services were held at Omaha Friday, November 10 for Mrs. Cora Waggoner of Omaha, who passed away at the Douglas County Hospital Tuesday, November 7, 1967, at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 1 day. Interment was in the West Lawn Cemetery, Omaha. The Waggoner family lived in Geneva about 20 years, but moved away a good many years ago. James Waggoner was an employee of the Burlington railroad while in Geneva. He passed away in 1944. Mrs. Waggoner is survived by a son, Harry of Denver, Col.; four daughters, Mrs. Harold L (Loree) Schoeni of Smith Center, Kas., Mrs. Lonnie L. (Velma) Rice of Omaha, Mrs. Francis (Mary) Larsen of San Gabriel, Cal., and Mrs. Joseph S. (Arleta) Wilson of Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Loree, Mary and Arleta are graduates of Geneva high school. Rev. Larry M. Pence officiated at the funeral and Ada Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, conducted services Thursday evening.
