Bedford Gazette 1 MAR 1976 (?) issue Mrs. Walter S. Bennett Mrs. Bessie M. Bennett, 84, of State Line, Pa., formerly of RD 1, Flintstone, died yesterday at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital. Born at Chaneysville, she was a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Lucretia (Sowers) Fetters. Her husband, Walter S. Bennett, preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Donald S. Bennett, State Line; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body is at the Conner Funeral Home, Everett, where friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Chaneysville United Methodist by Rev. Charles Perrin. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery near Chaneysville. The body will be taken to the church an hour before the service. --- Paper unknown Date unknown Bessie M. She was born August 20, 1891, in Southampton Township, a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Lucretia (Sowers) Fetters. She was married to Walter S. Bennett, who died September 8, 1969. Surviving is a son, Donald S. Bennett, of State Line, Pa., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services: Tuesday, March 2, at 11 a.m. in the Chaneysville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Charles Perrin, officiating. Burial in the Mt. Zion Christian Cemetery, near Chaneysville. Friends may call at the Conner Funeral Home in Everett today from 4 to 9 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
