Bio
After living 93 blessed years, Jeanette Brunet peacefully transitioned from life on this earth into the arms of her Lord on Wednesday, June 7th, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on May 25th, 1924, Jeanette leaves behind two sisters; Wanda Jackson and Joyce Bates. She is also survived by her daughter, Joyce O’Sullivan, three grandchildren, Frances Hill, Joseph Sandy, and Shane Sweeney, along with many nieces and nephews. The eighth of eleven children born to James and Hester Garrison, Jeanette is remembered as a caring and loving person who was passionate about children (especially babies) and animals. Preceding Jeanette in death were her parents, James and Hester Garrison, brothers Art Garrison, Woodrow Garrison, and Boyce Garrison, and sisters Eloise Garrison, Bertha Whitlow, Helen Johnson, Capitola Wells, and Eleanor Bussey. Jeanette’s final resting place will be Roundtop Cemetery near Mountainair, where a graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at 5:00 PM.
