Bio
Joe Frank Novak was born to Joe and Mary Trojacek Novak. He was reared in Ennis, graduating from Ennis High School in 1947. From 1951 to 1952, he served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. On Nov. 23, 1963 he was married to Charleen Honza. After their marriage, they lived in Ennis, where he was employed as a pressman for Ennis Business Forms. He was a member of the Telico Church, SPJST #25 and the WFLA#402. He served as Scoutmaster for Troop #211 and served as a board member of the Telico Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Joseph Taylor Novak; and a sister, Mary A. Novak. Survivors: wife, Charleen, of Ennis; sons, Carl Wayne Novak of Ennis, Robert Joe and his wife, Sherry Novak, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jody Allen Novak and Matthew Wayne Novak; a special niece, Linda Trojacek of Ennis; and other special nieces and nephews.
