Bio

McPhillips, Lucille A. Lucille A. McPhillips, 92, passed away peacefully with a smile on her face in her residence at Mountain Park Senior Living in Phoenix on May 22, 2017. Lucille is the last surviving sibling born on the Thomas and Anastasia Courtney homestead in Lynch, Nebraska. Following H.S. Lucille moved to San Diego where she was employed as a Radio Wiring Installer on B-24's and met her Marine husband John Fultz who unfortunately died of cancer in 1952, leaving her widowed in suburban Boston to raise 3 children, Barbara Fultz Strom (husband Don), John Fultz, Robert Fultz (wife Deborah). Once they were off to college she met her husband of 48 years, C.F. (Frank) McPhillips who also survives along with daughter-in-law Caterina Biscaglia, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral mass is scheduled at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 10am. Interment is planned at the VA National Memorial Cemetery of Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Corpus Christi Church or Hospice of the Valley will be appreciated. ARIZONA REPUBLIC 1 JUNE 2017
