Funeral services for Dr. Ned Snyder, 84, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Benedict Zientek officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of the Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Dr. Snyder died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001 in his home. He was born Oct. 7, 1917 in Brownwood. He married Beverly "Bitsy" Gramann in Austin in 1942. He was a Medical Doctor and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a lifetime resident of Brownwood. He served as a Captain in the U. S. Air Force during World War II. Survivors include three sons, Dr. Ned Snyder, III, and wife Dot of Waco; Dr. David Snyder and wife, Vicki, of Santa Fe, N.M., and Graham Snyder and wife Kathy of Beaumont, two daughters, Molly Williams and husband O'Bannion of Houston and Marion Snyder of Brownwood, 13 granchildren; friend June Bowen of Coleman; sister-in-law Marie Gramann of Brownwood; and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death of by wife and daughter, Lucinda Ann Snyder. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or the donor's favorite charity. Submitted by Mary Bynum
