Taken from Schmitz Funeral Home book 1914-21, p.142 G. W. Dillon, white, male, married, b. 8 Oct. 1847 in Missouri and d.12 Sept. 1917 from "organic heart & tubercular lung" and resided at N. Elm St., Denton, Texas. He was buried in the City Cemetery (Oakwood) on 13 Sept. 1917. THIS IS NOT George Washington Dillon Sr, born in 1813 in VA nor his son, Jr. born in 1846 in Ohio. Jr's mother was Mary, born in 1814 in Ohio. His siblings were, at least, Thomas J, 1842, Ohio; and Mary E, 1851, Ohio.
