Bio
Trevor E. O’Nele, 40, of Pierce, formerly of Central City, died on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Faith Regional Health in Norfolk. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Tom Lucas officiating. Burial will be at the Central City Cemetery. Solt-Wagner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Trevor was born on June 26, 1976, to Dennis and Lynne (Chalupa) O’Nele, in Grand Island. Trevor grew up in the Central City and Grand Island area. Following his schooling, he worked for a lawn care company out of Grand Island. He then moved back to Central City and worked for Bonnavilla Homes in Aurora. On Sept. 8, 1997, Trevor was involved in a 4-wheeler accident that changed his life. He was no longer able to work and had to have extra care to help him out. One of those people who helped him was his great friend and caregiver, Steve Williams. Trevor was baptized in the United Methodist Church in Central City. Trevor loved remote control cars, 4-wheelers, music, water skiing and anything that had a motor and wheels. Those left to cherish his memory, are his daughter; Jayden Kilcoyn of Lincoln; his father; Dennis O’Nele and special friend, Ida Bruns of Central City; a sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Mike Amsden of Central City; a granddaughter; Anveya Cruz of Lincoln; and three nephews, Michael and Adam Amsden of Central City and Prescott O’Nele of Central City. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynne O’Nele; a nephew, Kyle O’Nele; and his grandparents, Kenneth and Maxine O’Nele and Frank and Libbie Chalupa.
