Bobby Adrian Wood HAGERMAN – Bobby Adrian Wood, 90, of Hagerman, Mountain Home and Pine, Idaho, died on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Stonebridge Assisted Living in Hagerman. Bob was born on October 28, 1926 in Alhambra, Calif., to parents James and Rella Wood. He married Eileen Billiard on July 4, 1947 in Hagerman, Idaho. A veteran of WW II, Bob served as a sergeant in the army in the Philippines from 1944 to 1946. Bob and Eileen primarily raised his family in Mountain Home, Idaho where he worked as a mechanic until 1975. He then took a job with the Mountain Home Highway District and moved to Pine, Idaho. Here he and Eileen build their forest cabin and eventually retired. Bob describes this time living in the mountains as the freest and happiest of his life. He will be remembered by is friends and family for his sweet kindness, his love of nature, his passion for cars, his dry sense of humor and for his tireless work and loyal devotion to his family. Bob is survived by: his son, Stephen Wood of Hagerman; his daughters, Suzanne Hashim of Yelm, Washington, and Marie Whyte of Boise; and his sister, Sandra Barrus of Twin Falls, Idaho. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Wood; and his grandson, Aaron Wood. A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Hagerman Cemetery in Hagerman. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel. Donations can be sent to the Hagerman Cemetery P.O. Box 1456 Hagerman, Idaho 83332.
