Bio

Father: Franz Knopf Mother: Anna Marie Kroehinsky ~~~ Havre--Charles Knopf, 68, resident of Hill county since 1914, and father of Earl Knopf, Hill county commissioner, died Sunday night at his home here. He had been in failing health for a number of years but his death came suddenly. He was a native of Beatrice, Nebraska, and filed on a homestead eight miles north and one mile west of here in 1913. He was joined by his wife in 1914. They moved to Havre in Jan 1946, and have resided here since. Besides his widow and son, Earl, Knopf is survived by two sisters and five brothers.
