Bio
Alma Rowald Fuessel, 91, of Taylor, passed away on February 14, 2007. Born on November 21, 1915, on a farm near Noack, she was the eldest of five children born to William and Annie (Buenger) Seggern. On December 5, 1935, Alma married her first love, Fritz Rowald in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at Wuthrich Hill. She has been a lifelong member of this church. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Herbert and Arthur Seggern, her first husband of 36 years , Fritz Rowald, sister Myrtle Meier, son Lloyd Rowald, daughter Elaine Rowald Kallus, and her second husband of four years, Werner Fuessel. Alma is survived by son Leon Rowald of Temple, daughter Kathryn Rowald Anderson and her husband Winston of Austin, daughter-in-law Kathy Rowald of Taylor, sister Hilda Krueger of Taylor, step-son Walton Fuessel and wife Caroline of Irving, step daughter-in-law Sadie Fuessel Raschke and her husband Ben of Taylor, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Bohls officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Condra Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
