Bio

Debra L. Stange, age 65 of Fulton, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at her home. In following Debra's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friend will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Pape Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 18th at the Open Bible Fellowship Church, Morrison. Burial will be at a later date in Elvira Cemetery, Elvira, Iowa. Debra was born in Kearney, Nebraska on December 5, 1951, the daughter of David and Frances (Gillien) Troxel. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1970 and attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology in Waterloo. She married Thomas W. Stange on July 12, 1975 in Clinton. Debra had been employed at Mercy Medical Center, was a stay at home mom, and later worked at Northwest Fabrics and Sewing Machines and More. She was a very active member of the Open Bible Fellowship Church, Morrison. She was a member of the YWCA and Friends for Charity. She loved attending her granddaughter's activities, sewing, golfing, bowling, baking, and being with her dog Sophia. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Sidney, Keith and her twin David.
