Tuesday, October 12, 1965 The Fresno Bee The Republican from Fresno, California William H. Hensley, 78, of Fresno died last night in a local hospital. He lived in a local nursing home for several years. Hensley was born in Bedias, Tex. and came to Fresno about 11 fears ago. He was a retired laborer. His wife, Ollie, died in 1940[sic 1939]. ??? at 8:30 p.m. in the Shrine of St. Therese. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a. m. tomorrow. Survivors are four sons, William T of Fresno, Ellis of Artesia, NM, Elmer of Spring, Tex., and James A. of New Mexico; three daughters, Mrs. Rose Marie Goodrich of Andrews, Tex., Mrs. Loma Louise Kuhn of San Diego and Mrs. Helen Roberts of Carlsbad, NM; several brothers and sisters, and 23 grandchildren. By 1930, the family was living in Dawson Texas with Burell making their livelihood as a farmer.
