Sarah Henrietta was a daughter of Walter Burroughs Karcher, a native of Texas and Cornelia "Nealy" Isabel (nee Tuck) Karcher, also a native of Texas. Sarah was born in Houston, Texas. She married Ernest Daniel Hardwick, a son of Jesse Ranch Hardwick and Ada Bell (nee Miller) Hardwick. Sarah and Daniel were both ministers. The couple had 2 boys. Ernest passed away in 1941. Sarah remarried and became Orlen Robinson's second wife. He was a son of Bert Clark Robinson and his first wife, Anna Dell "Della" (nee Stickney) Robinson. Orlen was also a minister. They both served in the Four Squares Gospel Church in Dover, Ohio.
