Bio

Mrs. J. A Clement, 82, Route 4, Vienna road, passed away early this morning at the Prather Clinic after an illness of several months. A resident of Americus for the past 40 years, Mrs. Clement was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. E.C. Hinson, Americus; and a sister, Mrs. Alma Massie, Gulfport, Miss. Also, a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the Reese Park Chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. M.C. Gardner and the Rev. W.A. Joyner officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Published October 6, 1952
