Bio
Barbara A. Pearson Hite, passed away on April 27, 2017. Barbara worked for many years in her parent's gas station until it was closed. After which she went to work at IRS from where she retired in 2001. Barbara was an active member in Travis Chapter # 472 Order of the Eastern Star and active in her church at First Christian Church in Lockhart, Texas. She was also a life member of the DAV Auxiliary and Austin Assembly # 125 Social Order of the Beauceant. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Joe C. Pearson and mother, Ethel Adams Pearson, her sister Patsy Kendall, brother Joe Wayne Pearson, nephew Brent Kendall, and niece Penny Kendall. She was also preceded in death by her great-grand daughter Kaitlynn Hite and her mother Brenda Hite. Barbara is survived by her husband of "66 years and 7 months" Fred Hite, son Bill Hite and his wife Pat, daughter Cynthia Barber and her husband Dan, daughter Susan Martin, and her husband Randy. She is survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and Julianna who she really wanted to meet in July. She is also survived by several cousins and sister in laws. Services will be at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 11610 Chapel Lane, Austin, Texas 78748. Visitation will be held at Austin-Peel & Son Funeral Home located at 607 E.
