Theresa Rose Kammerer, age 77, of Clayton, North Carolina formerly of Mound City, Kansas passed away Saturday April 22, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born on May 4, 1939 at Ericson, Nebraska the daughter of Albert and Gertrude Reedy Seidel. She married Charles "Chuck" Kammerer on May 9, 1964 at Lynwood, California. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2016. Theresa worked as a CNA, teacher and cook. But, her true calling was being a mother and wife. She was involved in her childrens activities and she and Chuck were always active in various organizations in the Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Lawrence, Gilbert, O.J. and Maurus Seidel, and three sisters: Marcelina Ratliff, Anna Marie Davidson and LaVerna Becker. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mound City. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
