Services Set for Lynn Boy Orville James Will Be Buried Today At Tahoka Following His Death Here; Details Of Death Still Lacking Funeral services for Orville James of New Lynn Community, who died at Lubbock sanitarium at 7:05 am. yesterday, 24 hours after he was found unconscious suffering from a fractured skull, will be held this afternoon at the Baptist church at New Lynn, about seven miles southeast of Wilson. Burial will be at Tahoka under the direction of Bynum-Morgan Funeral home of Lubbock. The boy was found unconscious at about daybreak Thursday in a lot near his home. James and Oscar Edwards, 19, who lived nearby, had gone to a party horseback Wednesday night. James rode the horse, belonging to Edwards to his home after dropping his companion at the Edwards home. It is presumed the horse threw the James boy as he entered the lot on the James farm. Exposure from midnight until daybreak caused pneumonia to set in and hasten the boy's death, attending physicians said. He did not regain consciousness after the accident. Besides his parents the boy is survived by a brother. Elton James. 12, and three sisters. Geneva James. 10. Mildred James 9, and Opal Ruth James 3.
