Paulina Billings was the daughter of Allen Toliver and Susannah Mash. She married John Letcher Billings. She was the mother of John Letcher Billings, Florence Virginia Billings, Minnie Dick Billings, Laura Etta Billings, Samue Taliaferro Billings, William Emery Billings, and Eliza Jane Billings. The headstone was erected by her daughter, Mrs. L. J. Shaw
