Julious Burl (J. B.) Brinlee 79, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home in Madill. He was born on September 17, 1937 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Jess J. Brinlee and Opal Houchen Brinlee. J. B. was raised in Ada and graduated from Healdton High School in 1955. He joined the United States Navy and served from 1955 to 1959. J. B. later attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California where he received a Master’s Degree in Animal Reproduction. He worked for several years at Carnation Genetics before going to work for Southeastern State University in Durant. J. B. married Becky Ash on January 24, 1997 in Madill. He retired in 2003 from Murray State Collage in Tishomingo and has worked the past 8 years for the Corner Drug Store in Madill. J. B. was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Madill and he enjoyed watching OU Football, fishing and being with his kids. He is survived by: Wife: Becky Brinlee, Madill, Oklahoma Children: Susan Factor, Moore, Oklahoma Dave Brinlee and wife Ann, Norman, Oklahoma Kay Rumsey and husband Mike, Moore, Oklahoma Aaron Bridgman and wife Misty, Kingston, Oklahoma Shilo Hammons and husband John, Enid, Oklahoma 13 Grandchildren: Mark Brinlee, John Factor, Kristy Factor, Taylor Factor, Kaycee Rumsey, Presley Rumsey, Christopher Tyson, Deak Bridgman, Gracie Bridgman, Brooke Hammons, Baylee Hammons, Brannda Hammons and Brody Hammons Sister: Karen Brinlee McMaster J. B. was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson; Scott Brinlee and a sister; Janice Decker
