November 21, 1916 - April 14, 2017 Wilma Vivian (Vrana) Morgan, of Burlington, passed into eternity on April 14, 2017 at 5:20 a.m. She was born on November 21, 1916 in Olivia, Minnesota to Frank and Frances (Hladky) Vrana. Visitation is on Monday, April 24th from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Hulbush Funeral Home, Burlington. Memorial Service is on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Central Valley Assembly of God, 1551 Rio Vista, Burlington. Reception to follow. ********************** From Memorial Service 4-22-2015:: Wilma Vivian (Vrana) Morgan, of Burlington, passed into eternity on April 14, 2017 at 5:20 a.m. She was born on November 21, 1916 in Olivia, Minnesota to Frank and Frances (Hladky) Vrana. She attended Cumro School in Nebraska and was married to Jordan "Joe" P. Morgan in Sumner, Nebraska on March 7, 1936. Jordan came west to find work in the fall of 1937. They first settled on Sinclair Island. Wilma took the train with her two month old daughter headed for Washington in July of 1937. Besides settling on Sinclair Island, they also lived in Lynden, Custer, Bellingham, Mount Vernon and settled in Burlington in 1943. Wilma was a wonderful devoted wife and caring mother to all her children. She cared for the farm and family when Jordan was away working in construction in Alaska and wherever jobs were available. She worked very hard canning, freezing, gardening and keeping a spotless home for her children. After the children were grown, she took a retail sales course at Skagit Valley College. She worked in her husband and son's office, "Rustic Ranch Real Estate" in Mount Vernon. She was a faithful member of Central Valley Assembly of God church, taught Sunday School, helped provide baby clothes for Women's Ministries. Jordan and Wilma were involved in the building program during the time when Joel Gunderson was pastor and also were instrumental in securing the parsonage at the Central Valley Assembly of God church. Wilma is survived by her children, Al Morgan, Sedro Woolley; Faye (David) Nichols, Burlington; Joann Morgan (who has been missing since 2004). Wilma is the last survivor of all her siblings. She leaves eight grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances (Hladky) Vrana; brothers, John Vrana, Edd Vrana, Adolph Vrana, Rudy Vrana; sister, Frances (Vrana) Alspaugh; daughter, Fern (Morgan) Clark; grandson, David Luke Nichols; granddaughter, Darla Lynette Nichols; nephews, Don Alspaugh, Glen Alspaugh; great-great-grandsons, Anthony Mason and Liam Mason. She will be greatly missed by her family members and her church. She has resided at Where The Heart Is assisted living facility in Burlington since 2013. The family would like to thank those who were her caregivers. A memorial service will be held at Central Valley Assembly of God, 1551 Rio Vista, Burlington on April 22, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Hulbush Funeral Home.
