Agnes Marie Harper, of Dallas, Texas was born December 17, 1932 in Ennis, Texas to Joseph L. and Agnes (Vrana) Spaniel and died February 7, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 20 days. Agnes Harper was born December 17, 1932 on a farm in Ennis, Texas and peacefully passed on February 07, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Harper, her parents Joe and Agnes Spaniel, and her oldest brother Joe W. Spaniel. She is survived by her five younger sisters and their spouses: Justina Kutil, Ella Spaniel, Georgia Polak, Adele and Herb Rosipal, and Dorothy and Ed Petru. Agnes is also survived by her three children and their spouses: Linda and James Dudik, Barbara and Rob Somers and, Tim and Jennifer Harper; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Agnes married the love of her life November 10, 1956, Air Force Master Sergeant Charles L. Harper, and traveled with him for several years until settling in Dallas in 1960 when he retired. Agnes and Charles were very happy and content with being active in their community and in support of their extended family and donated a large part of their free-time in pursuit of those activities. Agnes was very talented and had a passion for crocheting and easily made over 100 blankets and baby blankets that she gave to her family and extended family and donated regularly. She also needle-pointed several pieces. Agnes was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a very vibrant, energetic matriarch to her family Agnes was greatly loved and will forever be missed. May she rest contentedly in God’s love.
