William E. Sanderson was the son of Joseph Eli Sanderson and Mickey Auberry. He married Dovie Edna McDonald on January 3, 1897 in Collin county, Texas. They had twins, Arvel and Hazel Sanderson. William died 3 years later and Dovie remarried to John Brinlee.
