Bio

David Church, 88, died at his home in the Upper Clinch community of Hancock county Sunday. Funeral services were Monday at 1 p. m. at the home, with the Rev. Giles Barnett officiating. Mr. Church is survived by the widow, Mrs. Tennessee Church; two sons, Harrison of Plainfield, Ind., and Worley of Spears Ferry, Va.; eight daughters, Mrs. D. C. Matlock, Mrs. N. W. Edens and Misses Almira, Nannie and Icephine of Spears Ferry; Mrs. W. H. Combs, Indiana; Mrs. W. C. Bray, Gate City, Va., Mrs. Jim Gilliam, Rogersville, and a brother, Enoch Church, Spears Ferry.
