Bio
Adela Jurek Vinklarek of El Campo died April 7, 2017 at the age of 95. She was born July 26, 1921 in Jeddo, Texas to the late John Joe and Agnes Janecka Jurek. She was a long time seamstress and worked at the drug dept. at HEB for 15 years. She had served on the IMUD board of directors and was their business secretary. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America #1374. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband L. T. Vinklarek, son Robert Vinklarek, granddaughter Melinda Ann Janda; sister Victoria Knesek; and infant brother John Jurek, Jr. Visitation will begin 4 pm Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Triska Funeral Home with a CDA Rosary service at 5 pm. The Funeral Mass will be 10 am Monday, April 10, 2017, at St. Philip Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Rother officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
