http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~neplatte/vitals/vitals1975.html BORKE - Edward F. Borke, 2904 Sixth Street, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at Behlen Community Hospital. He was 60. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. The Rev. Laurin Buzynski will officiate. Rosary service will be 8 p.m. today at McKown Funeral Chapel where the body lies in state. Lifelong resident of Columbus, Mr. Borke was born here Oct. 3, 1915. During World War II he served three years with the 13th Air Force, including one and one-half years in Europe. For the last 10 years he was a security guard for Pinkerton's. Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Zoucha; two sons, Terry and James; one daughter, Karen; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bill (Frances) Ifland and Mrs. Theresia Simpson of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna (Eschler) Borke
