Bio
Thelma Clark, age 97, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 19, 2014. Ms. Clark was a lifelong devoted member of the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. She loved to cook and was dedicated to reading her bible daily. Ms. Clark was preceded in death by her husband; Ernst Clark, parents; Crocket Johnson and Daisy Covington, 2 daughters; Margaret Eason and Betty Russ, 2 brothers; Jesse and Elmo Johnson, sister; Geneva Doyle. Survived by son; Billy Johnson of DeRidder, 10 grandchildren; William Russ, Jeanita Tobin, Tina Jenkins, Robert Johnson, Anthony Eason, Gary Eason, Brenda Tweedel, Donna Foshee, Lora Carrero and Angela Hargrove. 21 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday February 22, 2014, at 2 pm from the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with Bro. Ed Tilley officiating. Interment to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Pitkin, LA. Family will receive friends on Friday from 6 '96 9 pm.
