Robert Lee Richardson June 17, 1943 ~ March 28, 2017 (age 73) Obituary Service Details A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the home of Tina Burleson. Robert Lee Richardson, 73, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on March 28, 2017. Robert Lee Richardson was born on June 17, 1943, in Dallas, TX, to parents, James Grover Richardson and Eva Mae Garrett. He was raised in Kleberg, TX where he attended school. Robert moved to Edgewood in 2001. He loved cats, enjoyed working on cars and liked to kid around and make up words or scramble them, like “shake a tower” instead of take a shower. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Richardson II; grandson, Leonard Richardson and siblings, Joe Richardson, Verba Spence, James L. Richardson, Joyce Johnson and Paul Richardson. Robert is survived by his daughters, Tamara Goode of Quinlan, Tina Burleson and husband, James of Edgewood and Renee DeLuna of Dallas; brother, Jerry Richardson of Dallas and sister, Shirley Flowers of Kaufman; along with ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
