Bio
John M. Chudej was born in Scurry Texas to Julius and Mary Chudej. He served his country with honor and Fought in World War II. He married Helen Chudej in 1947 and together they spent 57 years together until her passing in 2004. They raised three children, Kenneth, Linda and Michael. He was a charter member of St. Philip Catholic Church. He owned a successful hardwood business for many years. Some of his favorite hobbies included gardening, plants and flowers. He loved animals and raised chickens, goats and dogs. He had a great times collecting eggs and sharing them with others. He looked forward to going to the Senior Center each day and being with his friends. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Chudej and wife Wendy, Linda White and husband Jim, Michael Chudej and his wife Janis, grandchildren, Lauren and husband Travis, Jill and husband Carlos, Tiffani, Jesse and wife Tammy, great-grandchildren, Damian, Adalyn, Nora, Campbell, Logan, Reagan. He is also survived by one sister, Frances Hosek and sister in law, Frances Chudej. Family will receive visitors from 5pm until 7pm, Sunday, March 25, with Rosary at 6pm, Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX, 75218. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30am, Monday, March 27 at St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church, 8131 Military Pkwy, Dallas, TX, 75227. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220.
