Bio

"Big" Jim was shot and died from his injuries in Dickson County (probably Slayden) Family tradition says he was buried in the Seals Cemetery. He was the son of Thomas and Jane "Jincey) Rushing Elliott - being the youngest know child of eleven. The Father of Martha Jane (Elliott) Lane (memorial #97631839), Nora Lee (Elliott) Hayes and Nancy "Jimmie" (Elliott) Yates (memorial #97631974) with his wife, Samantha (Coon) Elliott.
