Mr. Cooley is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Mamie Lee Cooley; sons, Daryel Cooley and wife Waynell, Clyde Cooley and wife Emily and Richard Cooley; daughter, Darlene Cooley Yanko; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, W.L. Cooley. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Leona and Ohros Cooley; brother, Kelby Cooley; sister, Eloise Harper; and grandson, Corey Cooley. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder. The Rev. C.E. Cooley will officiate. Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder.
