Kenneth “Kenny” Bernett Doyle, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home in Ten Mile, Louisiana. He was born at home on April 28, 1946 in Ten Mile Louisiana to Elbert and Mollie (Johnson) Doyle. He was a 1964 graduate of Plainview High School. Kenny worked at Fort Polk, Louisiana as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for 21 years until his retirement in 2003. He spent his remaining years at home raising cattle, tending the family property, and looking after his mother. Kenny is survived by his wife Aline Doyle (Durden) of Kinder, LA; one son Benji Doyle and wife Danielle of DeRidder, LA; one daughter Susan Doyle of Jacksonville, TX; two grandchildren Tommy and Ella Grace Doyle of DeRidder, LA; his mother Mollie Doyle of Ten Mile, LA; and brothers and sisters: Ralph Doyle (Jewel), Harold Doyle (Margie), Hilda Jean Monk, Ellender “Deaux” Doyal (Tereasa), Juanita Cloud (Clayton), Sharon Crowl (David), Linda Ballard (Reggie), Sandy Doyle, and Mike Doyle. He was preceded in death by his father Elbert Doyle. In keeping with the wishes of Kenny, there will be no funeral service. A private memorial will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
