ATHENS - Graveside services for Catherine Ballow Trammell, 86, Texarkana, formerly of Athens, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Athens Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Palmer officiating under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens. Mrs. Trammell died Jan. 26, 2007, in Texarkana. She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Henderson County to the late John W. and Zinnie Olivia Donnell Ballow. She was a homemaker and lived in many Texas areas prior to retiring to Athens. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Athens. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Phillip E. Trammell Sr.; son, Phillip E. Trammell Jr.; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors are grandsons, John Thomas Trammell and Phillip David Trammell, both of Texarkana. If desired, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 911, Athens, 75751.
